Consistently a best seller, the ESP EC-1000 LTD Deluxe is now available with an eye-catching flame maple top. The mahogany body and set-in 3-piece mahogany neck are robust yet very playable. Unlike other EC-1000 models, this guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncans - a JB at the bridge and a '59 at the neck - for a radically different sound then its siblings. Addtional pro-grade highlights include rock-solid Schaller locking tuners, TonePros T3B-T bridge with stoptail, and an Earvana compensated nut to improve intonation. It's trimmed with black hardware and abalone binding. Case not included.

  • Mahogany body with flame maple top
  • White body binding with abalone purfling
  • Set in 3-piece mahogany neck
  • 24.75" scale
  • Rosewood fingerboard with abalone flag inlays

the reason you can play this guitar...

the reason you can have this quality at this price is that this guitar does not match its flamed maple top. Everything on this guitar is beautiful, the tone, the components, the feel,.. the feel... Play this guitar.

I use this guitar at shows, to record, and to rehearse. This is the most versatile guitar I have ever touched for under $1500. Great sound, great feel. Only problem is that the finish is a little flashy, which could be a good thing in some cases.

I'll take it over a Gibson any day

I have owned this guitar since 2005 and play it everyday. It has held up through countless hours of practice and touring. I prefer this model over the emg models because you can achieve any style of music you set out to play. I play a lot of dream theater so I need pretty much every kind of sound that's out there and this guitar has never let me down. I will play it until it falls apart which doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon. Bottom line is you won't regret it and the picture does not do it any kind of justice. It is way better looking in person.

The only thing that sucks, is that I bought this same guitar almost 3 yrs ago & it was only [$] Get it the cheapest & you won't be sorry!!

excellent instrument

excellent guitar great looks incredible sustain and nice p-ups... what more can u ask for?? worth every penny!!

Better than Les Paul

This guitar is amazing. Hands down best for the money. It's relatively cheap. It has the classic Les Paul-ish shape without the classic Les Paul weight (thanks to the mahogany body) or hefty price tag. The Duncans provide tones that the EMGs in the other EC-1000s cannot. And, with the flamed top, gives it a more classic feel to it than a quilt top or flat finish would give. The only improvement I'm making is adding chrome covers to the pickups because I'm not that big a fan of Zebras. I own 6 guitars of everything from Epiphone LP Junior, Dean ML, ESP (EC and V), Samick, and a knock-off Fender Strat. This is the one I go to every single time for everything. And if that doesn't tell you just how fantastic a guitar that is then nothing will.

Best les paul stlye guitar for the money

Looking for a les paul style guitar this is it. The features on this guitar will blow away anything in it's price range, don't even bother looking at over priced gibson garbage. I have played it on and off at four shows now and i have no complaints, accept for the cheap jack......no big deal for the price get a good one from warmoth installed and its still cheaper than anything gibson.

Great guitar for the $$$

The finish on this guitar is stunning. I own a Gibson SG custom as well as a Les Paul studio and the finish is better the these guitars. The sound is great and it balances perfectly on your leg while sitting down. Highly recommend for the cash!

Incredible value!

Absolutely stunning guitar for the price. Finish looks much better than in the photos. Surprisingly light weight and very comfortable. Toss in Duncan p'ups, Earvana compensated nut, and Tonepros bridge/tailpiece, and you have an unbeatable value for this price range. I believe a Gibson Les Paul with these features would be up to three times this price. Very highly recommended.
