LP special TV yellow

I really like this guitar. And love the color. It sounds they way it should. I play a lot of Stratocasters and had a Gibson custom LP that I got new in 1978. But the weight on this is guitar is great. 🎼

Recommend this guitar

Easily my favorite guitar... the P90 pickups are fantastic!!! The simple design and look of the special (TV YELLOW) caught my attention. The tones from these pickups is what sealed the deal!!! Highly recommend this guitar!!!

Epiphone delivers

The only thing I had to do was lower the action and change the strings. The P90s, intonation is spot on. no blems, A very nice instrument

Good value for iconic guitar

Much better quality than the entry level epiphones. Also, much cheaper price than the authentic Gibson version.

Best Guitar for a good price

Got it as my second guitar and it is a fantastic guitar. It sounds good and the color looks very good.

Fantastic LP Special!

So far I'm super happy with this guitar. Out of the box, it plays great. All I've done is lower the bridge down to get the action where I like it, and it plays fantastic. No high fret issues like I've seen on some reviews. The frets could use a nice polish on top, but the fret ends are fine with no sharp edges. The bound fretboard helps a lot, and makes the neck smooth and easy to play. And the neck is nice and fat. Even a bit fuller feeling than my Gibson DC Junior. I love the neck! As far as the guitar finish goes, it's pretty much spotless. The binding lines are clean. The neck join is clean with no cracks or finish issues. I wish I could see the wood grain a bit more through the finish, but it's there is you look at it in the right light. I've always liked the way the TV yellow finish looked, and I love it in person. And the pickups sound really great! I love the neck pickup. Nice creamy notes with the tone rolled off. And the bridge with full gain gives you a nice 90's punk rock snarl. I've been playing lots of Green Day riffs. I've really got nothing negative to say. I'll probably polish up the frets, round over the fret ends till they're perfect, and put on new strings. But, none of that is necessary. I'd say this is simply a great guitar. No matter what logo is on the headstock. And for the price, it's an unbelievable deal!

Finally Got It!

Great guitar.. the fit and finish was spot on..no sharp edges on frets no dead spots on the neck like I've heard said about Epiphone QA. The neck is pretty fat but still playable for me..I'm used to slim C style neck .. after playing the Epiphone I picked up my Telecaster and it felt like a toy. The pickups sound great.. this is my first P90 guitar and I'm really enjoying it. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.. great guitar.
