The interior design, material, and fit couldn't be more perfect for my Epiphone Viola bass. I imagine it would fit Hofners and Rogues too. I was disappointed that the exterior was covered in soft vinyl and not tough Tolex. It's pretty but easily dinged. It suffered a little corner cut on the very first gig, and I was careful. The size, weight, balance, and protection are perfect - but if only it was wrapped in something a little more durable.

This is a very nice case but note that it DOES NOT fit a Gibson EB-1, which was the original "violin-shaped" bass upon which the Hofner and (much later) the Epiphone Viola bass was based. I've seen many ads saying it fits "EB" basses, but it does not fit a Gibson EB-1. The body on an EB-1 is longer.
