The Epiphone AJ-100CE is a Classic Advance Jumbo style acoustic-electric guitar.

Based on the widely popular and affordable AJ-100, the electrified and equally value-priced Epiphone AJ-100CE even adds a cutaway body design so you can get to those upper frets. It features a mahogany body with a select spruce top, mahogany neck with Granadillo fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners. You can also plug in with the special design Epiphone electronics whenever you need to amplify.

The advanced jumbo style acoustic guitar is the go-to acoustic for beginners as well as professionals. Over the years, a wide range of artists including Hank Williams, The Beatles, Elvis Costello, and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco have chosen a jumbo style acoustic as their main tool for writing and performing. The Epiphone AJ-100CE is a great acoustic guitar with a beautiful cutaway for great upper fret access that can keep up with you and its built with over a century of expertise and skill.

Advanced Jumbos are the bread and butter of the acoustic guitar world. On stage with an acoustic band and little amplification they make a strong rhythm anchor. The Epiphone AJ-100CE, like all Epiphone acoustic guitars, is made tough. The AJ-100CE is legendary for being easy to set up and for staying in tune so no matter how much playing time you have, it's ready to go. Case not included.

Great for its price

Nice overall sounding, but the fact that it doesnt have any control over eq, tunning, or volume is quite dessapointing.

Pretty good for [$]!

This AJ100CE Advanced Jumbo Acoustic Electric Guitar by Epiphone is a rather nice for [$]... It has 3/5 tone, and 5/5 fun to play. I would use it for churches, small concerts or just simply "jamming" This guitar has a really good pick guard (not that there can be bad ones...) When amplified, it sounds very rich (I used a Fender Bullet 150 amp, very small). However, without amp, it is just a bit less of a guitar... I mean [$] is a GREAT DEAL STILL!!

Legit sound!

This guitar is pretty good in sound, great in price, and pretty fun to play. It probably won't have the Gibson, or Martin's quality, but I did try a guitar for about 499 bucks, Yamaha, and This Epiphone was much better! The tone is bright, and the Fingerboard is well built. I suggest, tat if you consider buying this guitar, you should try it first, see if you like it. Personally it is a great choice for beginners to Pretty well experienced people to jam and use for churches.

Tried this one a Sam Ash.... for an hour

This is a pretty decent guitar as I've tried it both with and without the amp(BTW the amp is a Lunchbox amp). I played styles from jazz, Christian, and Country and it was VERY versatile and did not disappoint. The sound is overall rich but not strong, like not as declarative as the Fenders I've tried. But again, it's a guitar worth every cent you've paid for and very good for small gigs, church stuff, practicing, and small outdoor performances.

sounds ok but jack loose

1

the sound is ok for a novice player - but the jack was loose on a new guitar, did some research to tweak the jack and discovered that this was a common complaint about the guitar. Also, the constant tweaking of the loose jack caused the wires to be twisted off from inside the guitar to the point the amplification would not work anymore. Returned the guitar. Went with a different guitar maker.
