This pedal would be 100% perfect IF it weren't for the amount of normal maitinence that it needs. I've had to get this thing fixed many times due to different reasons. In the first week it blew a tube, and the next month (long story short) it got something spilled on it, and what spilled on it got INTO the tube section which is open for easy tube changing. But if you're willing to keep up the pricy maitenince for it, IT IS WORTH IT!! Not only can you use it as a distortion pedal, but roll back the gain and lift up the volume and (with the stock tubes) it's the equivelant of a marshall tube head in a small box! When one of the 12AY7 tubes blew I put in a 12AX7 which turns the distortion up a notch. Helpful hint though, when you're changing tubes, just take the grill off and pull them out. All you need is the screwdriver to take the grill off, no other tools. Nothing in the manual tells you that, but that's how you do it.
