The strings make an annoying buzzing sound when first fret of any string is held down. It's nice & fun to play, but requires constant tuning.

The sales person talked me into purchasing this kit when I told him I play guitar and want to teach myself how to play the uke. When I took it out of the box, it was obvious I was not the first to purchase it, as it was out of the factory bag and had visible wear on the fretboard and neck. It took me nearly half an hour to tune four strings because they fell out of tune immediately and the tuning keys are so inconsistent that I could see them moving as I attempted to play. I will be returning this ukulele today and purchase a better quality uke with a chord chart.
