The Tex-Mex pickup set, paired with a vintage-style wiring harness, made my MIM Strat sound totally refreshed. Each has a distinctly old-school tone, but all three pups are wired white-hot. Get ready to adjust your amp gain. Really clean, jangly chime from the bridge; a tight and punchy middle pickup, and plenty of beefy tone at the neck position. While higher end sets offer more distinction, the Tex-Mex pickups offer authentic Fender sound at a good value for budget builders.

I love them! It's a cost effective way to upgrade your non-American strat with professional pickups. Personally, I love how hot they are, but will probably end up replacing the bridge with a stacked humbucker, but they're great!
