Beautiful Maple Top on Mahogany Body
The timeless single cutaway design of this Les Paul is built from mahogany and topped with maple. It's finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer for a gleaming shine. The neck is also cut from mahogany into a vintage '50s profile. The 24.75" scale length neck is topped with a 12" rosewood fretboard.

The Finest Gibson Craftsmanship
The Les Paul Standard '50s guitar is built with stylish rock aesthetics and fantastic playability in mind. All the specs go towards that end. The fretboard of this Les Paul sports 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays. It's got a Graph Tech nut for smooth string movement. The bridge on this Les Paul is a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic with a stopbar tailpiece. It even sports the vintage style amber top hat knobs with pointers.

Classic Gibson P-90 Pickups
For killer vintage tone, Gibson outfitted this awesome LP with their classically innovative P-90 pickups. These wide single-coils give warmth and depth to your sonic output, and create an encompassing overdrive tone. The circuitry includes 2 volume and 2 tone controls, as well as a three-way toggle switch, and is wired with orange drop capacitors. No matter your musical proclivity, there's nothing the Les Paul Standard '50s P90 can't handle.

I love the guitar! The quality is top notch and there are no issues at all. I love the guitar and P90's absolutely rock.

Nice guitar, but, not nice enough

wonderful P90 sound. The high E string is much closer to the edge of the fingerboard than the low E string. The strings line up with the polepieces on the pickups fine. It looks as if the neck set may not be optimal. The guitar is serviceable but a purchaser should be able to expect better from a guitar this expensive. I expect that this neck is within Gibson's tolerance standards. I played Gibson exclusively through the 60's and 70's and had many different models. I switched to Hamer, Heritage and PRS because of build quality issues with my prior Les Pauls. While I am enjoying this guitar I will not likely purchase another Gibson.

Yes indeed. Got a Sam Ash credit card and I'm good to go.

It's got no weight relief. I like that. It's a gold top. It has a fat neck. Sustain for days. P 90's. Old school. No cool taps. The case has a heavier duty latches. Action was perfect. Mr Davis was a lot of help and didn't make me feel like I was a pain in the butt. He took down a lot of guitars fore I decided on this on.
