Portable Floor-Based Stompbox Design
Considering a 4.75" x 2" x 7.5" footprint that weighs less than 2 pounds, the BritWind offers a stunning 75 watts of power in a highly-portable package. And unlike conventional guitar amplifier heads, the BritWind features a unique dual-channel stompbox design that can be easily integrated into your pedalboard or fly rig setup. Two Legendary Guitar Amplifiers In One
The BritWind houses the sound characteristics of Hotone’s British Invasion and Purple Wind Nano Legacy Series Guitar Amplifier Heads on separate channels. Inspired by the legendary Vox® AC30, CH A's British Invasion gives you the clean and distorted guitar sounds of the most popular British artists of the 1960s. Meanwhile, inspired by the legendary Marshall® Plexi Super Lead 1959, CH B's Purple Wind offers up the quintessential sound of classic Rock 'n' Roll guitar.

Extended Functions And Effects
The BritWind offers extended onboard functions and effects, including independent Volume, Gain and 3-band (Bass, Middle, Treble) EQ controls on each channel, a Boost function for adding up to +12dB of clean volume, Reverb with clear, natural decay, an FX Loop for integrating external effects, and a single Speaker Output that can accommodate speaker cabinets with different impedances (from 4–16 ohms). Love it!

Bought the BritWind as a backup, but I could easily gig with this thing - plenty of volume for my application with a single cab, I bet it kicks when connected to four ohm load. Nice design with the boost button available on both channels, almost like having a four-channel/footswitch-selectable head. I've read some knocks on the reverb, but it works just fine for me. Tone controls (separate set for each channel) have a wide range of effect on the voice of the amp. The wish list is, I wish it had two speaker jacks - but it IS a pretty small package, so I can live with that. I wish the Vox-voiced "Brit" channel was a bit more distinctively Vox sounding. It's a good clean tone that sounds rather Fender-ish to me - but, I grew up in the sixties, so I'm probably longing for some of that "MRB" Beatles flavor. As for the Marshall-voiced "Wind" channel, it's a beast! More drive/gain than I'll ever use. Overall impression: it's a keeper!

Tone monster!

I'm using it on my pedal board with the effects loop with the option for cab use or direct. AC30 and Plexi Super Lead tone is amazing. With a boost you get lots of gain. 75w gives you plenty of volume to a cab. Next I'll buy the Mojo Attack.
