The first series of guitar stands that deliver true innovation and musician-helpful features, the Genesis Series from Ultimate Support all offer a patented leg-locking system for stability, protective padding that won't inherently damage the finish on your guitar, and handy guitar pick storage slots. Whether you're looking for a quality stand for your acoustic, electric, or bass guitar, or even your favorite combo amp, there's a Genesis Series stand from Ultimate Support for you!

GS-100 Product Breakdown:
• Hanging-style Security Yoke
• Height-adjustable
• Stable and Portable
• Friendly To Your Guitar's Finish
• Patented Leg Locking System

Hanging-style Security Yoke
The unique hanging-style GS-100 guitar stand securely holds your guitar by the head stock while the body rests safely against velvet-like padded legs. A safety strap at the yoke provides extra protection. The GS-100 securely and safely holds guitars of all makes and styles!

The GS-100 is height adjustable so you can quickly adjust its height to accommodate nearly any acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, or bass guitar. Mix and match the GS-100 with any of your favorite guitars - it holds them all perfectly!

Stable and Portable
All four GS Series guitar stands are incredibly compact and ready to follow you anywhere your next gig takes you. There are no parts to loose, because each stand is just one piece. The GS-1000, GS-100, and GS-200 all fold up into an extremely compact 3.5" x 21" size while the GS-55 is even shorter at just 3.5" x 14". Take your guitar stand with you wherever your guitar goes!

Friendly To Your Guitar's Finish
Did you know that most expensive guitars use a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that requires special care? Because of the sensitivity of these finishes, the protective padding is a quality material surface that offers increased protection over standard surgical tubing, rubber, or foam found on other guitar stands (a high-quality case is recommended for long-term storage).

Patented Leg Locking System
Genesis Series guitar stands feature a unique, patented leg-locking mechanism. When setting up the stand, unlock and unfold the legs then lock in place for worry-free stability and strength. When finished with the gig, unlock the legs, fold, and lock for easy, compact portability. The ingenious leg lock eliminates the so-called "floppy leg syndrome" found with most all other guitar stands!

I Own Five of Them

I bought all the ones I could find when my local now-defunct music superstore with a planetary name closed; they used them for in-store display. These are the only stands I've had in the several years since. As a matter of fact, I'm at this web site today to order some more. They fit all my instruments from small ukes to full-scale bass guitars. I've had two die recently because of other people trying to help me pack. The stand has a red lever and a red knob that lock everything in place. One helper forced the sliding neck in without flipping the red lever and damaged the mechanism. I still use the stand at home with my shorter scale instruments. Another helper tried to fold the legs in on another stand without turning the red knob. He forcefully folded two legs in this manner before realizing there was more to it. The others are still holding and look like new. Not bad for gear that was bought used several years ago. Another reviewer mentioned the plastic parts, so my $0.02 on that: They are actually the better grade of fiber reiforced plastic, not cheap PVC. Yes, the stand would be indestructible if it were all metal, but I haven't seen things build that way since the 70s. Bottom line: these are a great buy.

Captain Willy

The base of the tripod, where the three arms join, is made of plastic. IT BREAKS. The stand looks awesome and if this part was made of metal it would be perfect. I'll take it to Sam Ash next week to see what they say about it, hopefully I can find something that looks as great as this one but in a better quality.

Absolutely Fantastic

This is the pinnacle of guitar stands. This is the one stand I have found that will not drop or scratch the instrument, and yet there is no fiddling required to hang the instrument up or take it down. This is the one you want.[...]

It WAS a great stand

"God knows I take good care of my equipment. So why is it than that I have a guitar stand that looks brand new bust is worthless? I've had the Genesis 100 for MAYBE a year and a half, and the other day, as I peacefully rest my guitar on it, something internally snapped causing the whole thing to almost come crashing down. I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it was within the stand that broke, but it was something that had to do with preventing the more slender part of the neck from slipping out. If my guitar had been resting on the thing for the entire duration of the year and a half, I might be able to understand why a small internal part would just finally gave way like that. I'm very disapointed with what WAS a very good stand."
