Very versatile, compact, sounds great, and inexpensive.

This is a great versatile reverb. The spring reverb being one of the highlights. You can set the spring length to get the perfect amount of drip for your sound. You can have it really subtle or very wet, it's amazing. This pedal has many amazing settings that is suitable for any style. The hall and plate settings sound great! The tremolo is amazing on this device and I use it often for my sound. You can dial it in to perfection by picking different tremolo styles with the mode button and using the tone knob to adjust how subtle you the effect is. The shimmer mode is outstanding and is perfect for ambient guitar style playing and volume swells. There's also an echo mode which adds delay to your reverberated sound and can choose which delay type you want (such as eighth and dotted eight) and even tap the tempo of your delay by holding the foot-switch and tapping your tempo in. These are some of the highlights of the pedal and the ones I use most often, but each mode has its own unique sound and effect. They all sound really good and is very easy to use. The pedal is very compact and will fit on your pedalboard without taking up too much space. There's no need to buy a super expensive reverb pedal that will take up your entire pedalboard, this pedal is perfect for any style, very compact, and at an affordable price.

Electro-Harmonix Oceans 11 Pedal Reverberates Through Time!

I wanted a reverb pedal for a drippy '60s surf music sound. After seeing several video reviews, I settled on the Oceans 11 from Electro-Harmonix. This pedal delivers! Lots of other reverb effects, and tremolo too. A little pricey, but worth it for my applications. I like clean and twangy as I do 1950s and 60s music. I don't use much distortion. It worked wonderfully with my cheap Silvertone practice amp. I also have a Line 6 Spider IV modelling amp and the effects were less pronounced. I think the Line 6 was muting some of the Oceans 11 reverb effects. I believe some tweaking on the Line 6 amp will fix that.

More than just reverb

Versatile pedal, but more tailored to players who like huge amounts of reverb or more "spacy" reverb effects. I do love reverb and almost find it a must have, but with this pedal, I have it dialed back close to zero to get the type of reverb I personally prefer. Don't get me wrong, I do not dislike the pedal and LOVE Electro Harnomix pedals, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's cheap enough. This one is just too much for my taste. I only use reverb to warm up and fatten my tone. This one is more an effects pedal than just reverb. If you're into heavily colored tones, it's great.

Would buy another effect.

Great effect shimmer.

Love it

Looked at a lot of reverb pedals but for the money this is the one to have and not break the bank. Actually more patchs than I will use but it's fun to mess around especially the reverse reverb, very cool.

More than just a reverb!

While this is a "guitar" pedal, I've been using it with my 6-string bass in the FX loop of my amp. As a reverb, it has 4 or 5 variants, not to mention modulation effects like chorus, flerb (flanger), and octave. Setting the FX level low helps provide the subtle reverb effect typically used on guitars to add space. Setting the FX level high offers a lot of other-worldly sounds. The tremolo is also very slick, offering sine, triangle, and square LFO waves which vary the way the input volume changes from soft (sine) to dramatic (square). The guitar tone seems mostly uncolored for my bass with the FX tone control flat. Increasing or decreasing that control does provide reverbs that are dark and moody to bright and surf-y. I am a big fan of EHX pedals, and this one does not disappoint.

Great and versatile reverb

This is a fantastic reverb pedal. Really, it's more of a multi-effects unit and reverb all in one. For the price, this is the best in class.
