Slash himself helped design the Slash Appetite Les Paul Special-II with an Appetite Amber finish, inspired by Slash's own custom Les Paul. The AAA flame Maple Veneer top has single layer Ivory binding and the back, sides, and neck are finished in beautiful dark Cherry just like Slash's original. Both the body and neck are made from Mahogany, like all classic Les Pauls. The bolt-on neck has a Rosewood fingerboard with dot acrylic inlays and the headstock features Slash's "Snakepit" logo in gold silk print along with the iconic Epiphone signature logo in silver.

The roar of Slash's Appetite Les Paul Special II comes from Epiphone’s new Ceramic Plus Zebra Coil humbucker pickups modeled after the famous (and ultra-rare) zebra (black and white) pickups found on late '50s Les Paul Standards, the most sought after vintage guitar on the market. The humbuckers are powered by Volume, Tone, and Toggle controls with Gold TopHat knobs with metal inserts. But unlike vintage models, the Slash Appetite Les Paul also comes with a built-in Shadow E-Tuner built into the bridge pickup mounting ring. The tuner is powered by one #2032 Lithium long-lasting battery, easily accessed from a compartment on the back of the guitar.

The Slash Appetite Les Paul Special II features Epiphone's premium all-metal hardware including a legendary Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece and strap buttons. The die-cast machine heads (tuners) have a 14:1 ratio for quick and easy spot-on tuning.

The Slash Appetite Les Paul Special-II also includes a premium gigbag with Slash's "Snakepit" logo in white, 3 Dunlop Tortex Slash signature picks in three colors (white, black and purple), guitar strap, an Epiphone 1/4" standard guitar cable, and for new players, free online lessons from eMedia.

Great Guitar for the Money!

I really enjoy playing this guitar, and finish is just awesome! The guitar came with really high action but a few adjustments and it came right back around. I didn't think I would like the Ceramic Plus humbuckers, however they are not as hot as I expected. Played through my Blackstar Core, I can dial in a whole host of tones from clean to raucus overdrive. I really bought this guitar not so much for the Slash signature model but the amber finish. The Slash was just a bonus. Great guitar for the price paid. Now the snakepit amp, well that's another story. Tons of hiss, and not much tone. Lives up to its name.

Great guitar!

Been a Fender guy for close to 40 years. Gibsons and Gibson clones always "felt wrong" to me. Went into Sam Ash a couple weeks ago and saw this Epi still in the box. After tuning it and playing for about 20 mins, I told the guy to wrap it up cause it was goin home with me! I'm still a diehard Fender guy who now loves my Epi Paul. Thanks to the crew at Sam Ash!

Best Bang For Your Rockin Buck

I'm normally a Fender and Jackson guy but picked this up on sale and I couldn't be happier. Guitar stays in tune nicely and the built in tuner is a nice touch and is pretty dang accurate compared to built in tuners i've used in the past.

Great product

After I changed the wiggly bridge it come with and a couple hours of adjusting its now the best sounding and playing guitar I've ever played. Just have to spend some time adjusting electric guitars to get em right. SWEET ! Is what it produces when its adjusted right. And that little amp is awesome haven't even wanted to upgrade the amp and little I play now don't see any reason to. Replace the strings to your liking also.
