Since the 1980's, Vivian Campbell has established himself one of rock guitar's greatest with his work in Dio and Def Leppard. Campbell has been an avid user of Les Paul's throughout his career, so when it came time to collaborate with Epiphone on a signature model, there was no question which Les Paul to model after - his black Gibson Les Paul that was used on early Dio albums. With the same classic look as Vivian's original Les Paul, Vivian's own Neck Profile, and DiMarzio X2N Humbuckers, you'll have a Les Paul infused with Rock history and one of its finest players.

The Same Classic Look as Vivian’s Original Les Paul
The Holy Diver Les Paul is modeled after Vivian's own Les Paul that he used on early Dio albums Holy Diver and The Last in Line. The mahogany body with a maple cap is covered in a black aged gloss finish, with cream binding wrapped around the Les Paul body to create the essence of the Holy Diver. The neck is a 24.75" scale 3-piece maple neck, with an Indian laurel fingerboard and medium jumbo frets. Cream binding surrounds the neck as well to complete the look. The brass knobs and lack of pickguard are key touches that make the Holy Diver a standout Les Paul.

Vivian's Own Neck Profile
For Epiphone, offering a signature model to an artist means making it truly feel like their guitar. There's no better way for them to achieve this than to give Vivian his own neck profile. The "Vivian" neck profile widens from 0.786 at the first fret up to 0.94" at the twelfth fret. Along with the 12" radius, an Indian laurel fingerboard, and the smooth aged gloss finish, you'll have loads of fun playing up and down the 24.75" scale neck. For an added touch of personality, Epiphone nailed the details by including Vivian's personal serial number from his original Les Paul onto the back of the headstock.

DiMarzio X2N Humbuckers
One of the immediate eye-catchers of the Holy Diver is the DiMarzio X2N humbuckers, due to how the black coils with twin wide-bar pole pieces match perfectly against the black aged gloss body. What will grab your attention more than their looks is the way how these humbuckers sound! The DiMarzio X2N Open Coil Humbuckers are a passive pickup with the highest output DiMarzio offers. In the bridge, you'll have a pickup that can push your tone to its limits with incredible saturation and aggression. The X2N in the neck manages to sound thick and powerful without becoming too boomy or flat. The X2N humbuckers are the ideal pickups to capture those driven tones of rock and metal music.
