Simple classic Marshall tone.

What a beast. I have mainly been using the 5 and 20 watt settings at practice. The full 50 watts will rip your head off in a normal size room. As for tone, what can you say, classic Marshall huge and glassy. Drive it with your favorite OD and it will perk right up. A bargain at this price point.

Superb amp and performance. It stays clean at high volumes making room for my pedals as well as cuts through even the heaviest handed of drummers. Its weight is great, is relatively simple in functionality, and its kinda pretty to look at.

The best of the origin line!

This is a magnificent amp for the price! You can get a pletora of tones using the Tilt and Presence knobs, plus you have the TMB knobs, which work perfectly fine too. I thought it was going to be a very bright and fizzy amp, but it is not at all. It has a very warm and balanced sound. The EL34 tubes are just great. This amp sounds much better in person than all the demos i've seen on youtube. The celestion midnight speaker is also great but i'm into getting a creamback and replace it and see if it is a worthy improvement. The builtin attenuator mode is awesome. You don't lose a bit of tone on any of two attenuation modes, marshall nailed it with this technology. The pull boost knob also adds a nice amount and balanced amount of punch and overdrive to the sound. Very satisfied with this purchase, a great great amp!!
