I love this little guitar. I bought it because I wanted a guitar that I could play for outdoor gigs without worrying humidity (or lack of humidity since I live in New Mexico). It's also a nice guitar for teaching because I don't have to worry about it getting banged up by younger students. The action was too high for my taste right out of the box, but a few turns of the truss rod took care of that. After adjusting the action and changing to my preferred strings, I'm very happy with its tone and playability. It doesn't have the resonance of my Taylor 314CE, but I still like the tone. I'm a light picker and am not interested in a big sound anyway. One thing I wasn't expecting was the clarity. I can hear each note very clearly, which is wonderful for my style of playing, which mainly involves playing fingerstyle arrangements of jazz standards. I have not plugged this in yet, so I can't speak about the onboard electronics or how it behaves with an amp or PA. Even though I had tested Rainsongs in stores, I was a little leery of putting down so much money on a guitar I hadn't played in person. I'm very glad I got this guitar. No buyer's remorse from me!
