The DC-X2E Rosewood features a full-size dreadnought body with a cutaway, solid Sitka spruce top and figured rosewood pattern HPL back and sides. The guitar features a long 25.4" scale which accentuates volume and projection while the cutaway allows the player access to the upper register of the guitar. Features include a mother-of-pearl pattern rosette, solid wood neck, fingerboard, and bridge, and Fishman MX electronics. Like all X Series guitars, the DC-X2E Rosewood comes in a gig bag featuring headstock, bridge, and end pin protectors, a durable water repellant exterior, and foam padding for protection on the road.

Tone
The DC-X2E Rosewood features a full-size 14-fret dreadnought body shape with a cutaway. The Sitka spruce top with its scalloped X bracing combined with a full-size dreadnought body delivers traditional Martin tone with full bass and treble response for maximum projection and volume.

Really impressed with sound

I was looking for a guitar just to play at home, nothing expensive just good quality but I was really impressed with the sound, I was between this and a Taylor and the difference was huge just for $50 extra I got a good quality instrument and actually made me go back to gigs

Sounds Great, Looks Great, Is Great.

Great guitar out of the box. quick tune and it sounds amazing. the action is fantastic and I had my doubts about the fishmen electronics being in the sound hole but I have to say... don't let that stop you. I plugged it in and turned up the volume, adjusted the eq slightly and it sounds amazing while being easy to access. plusit looks sharp not having a knob or panel sticking through the wood of the guitar. awesome price and for the cost you can't beat it. martin sound but affordable. (cause some of us gots kids)
