I use the word "Hot Potato" because when I used this splash during recording it just comes out at you and burns your ears in a good way.It delivers on punch and makes a statement! It does lose it's shine but,doesn't lose it's sound.I think it sounds best when choked so add felt.Good quality & great prices.The sound that burns in a good way.

Big fan of Peart and of splashes.The 8'Splash is my favorite out of all the Paragon line,and all other splashes period.Quick response & quick decay is what makes this cymbal stand out.In my opinion it loses it's luster in a short period of time,but doesn't take away from the sound.And in the end it's the sound that matters.High Quality at low prices.So Sabian & Sam Ash both deliver "Excellence".
