LP is pleased to introduce a complete line of instruments, proudly displaying the flag of Cuba, an island that has supplied our world with outstanding Latin and Latin jazz music.
The LP Matador Cuban Bongos are modeled after traditional style instruments (and thus have traditional rims), and a traditional steel bottom. Shells of the 7 1/2" and 8 5/8" pair are Siam oak; again, they wear proudly the Cuban flag. Heads are hand selected natural rawhide.
I've had this bongos for a year, I play them almost every day and they sound better today; than when I first bought them. They are very strong, a little heavy, but for this price you will be surprise at the quality of the sound. The Macho rocks any party and when you combine it with the Hembra is an instant jam session in full efect.
