I come to realize that selecting the right cartridge is the best thing you can do. Because sound is everything. This particular cartridge is just that. Being a D.J. You have to have the right stuff for your gigs. I appreciate you all having this particular model in stock.

I initially own one Concorde DJ Mk2, which is absolutely amazing and for clear reason what they call an industry standard, and after getting my 2nd turntable I was struggling thinking of what economic option was there for a nice Dj cartridge, not for scratching but more for back cueing and precise beatmatching, so after long research I decided to give a try the "Mix" cartridge as its a little bit cheaper and my intentions are heavy practice use. I've had it for like a week or so now and its a fantastic needle that really stands next to the Dj series and has absolutely satisfying results. I have tested it on my personal set that consist on one AudioTechnica AT LP 180 (CHEAP turntable), one Technics SL-1200 mk2 (industry standard) and a xone 23c analog mixer. The audio signal coming out from these cartridges is no doubt amazing with practically no distortion and I definitely recommend them for Djing or even record playing only Pluses: +6dB output voltage gives great volume clear and sharp hi and mid freqs full bass range response low record wear

Better Than Even The Expensive Ones!

I've been a DJ for give or take 20 years now, and I've tried just about every brand of cartridge. I was using some of the old Concordes (Nightclubs) until recently, and really didn't have any complaints about them - they always got the job done for me. Well, I took a gig out of down, and I needed a replacement stylus on short notice, but I decided to go for these instead. Out of the box, they just seemed to stick way better than I ever recall. Plus, the sound quality on regular vinyl was just super clean. The removable finger lift is a nice touch. I was REALLY surprised that these are considered the "budget" model.
