Wow!!! Didnt know this tone was possible in a Strat to be honest. String definition and articulation is unreal; less boomy/woolly than V-Mods in bass freqs; top end right at edge of being harsh without going there, so perfect amount of brightness and very clear top end. Very musical and balanced and *dead* quiet. I kept all 3 pickups at 3/32 for bass and treble sides. Seem very balanced this way. All 3 pickups balance well with each other, and the 2 and 4 positions still have the Strat quack thing going on. Unreal with high gain. Well balanced string definition with a high gain Marshall, and pinched harmonics no problem. Clean tones out of all 3 is just amazing. I dont know how DiMarzio and Paul Gilbert did this to be honest. Used the stock Fender 250K volume pot, I dont think I'll need to go 500K really as it sounds clear and bright as is now. I was afraid I wouldnt like them. So pleasantly surprised. I have tried many noiseless pickups, and always took them out of my guitars eventually. With these, they have stayed in my Fender American Professional Stratocaster. I had no idea noiseless could sound this good. Also plenty of wire for installation, and I had no difficulty putting them in my guitar. Overall: 9/10.
