A plectrum banjo is traditionally tuned C,G,B,D (like drop C tuning on the 5 string banjo, but without the 5th string) and is used most commonly for traditional jazz. Folk musicians also enjoy playing the plectrum banjo. Featuring a resonator, this banjo will be louder and brighter than its openback sister the Goodtime Plectrum. Easy to play with clarity of note separation and round full bodied tone.
