Born from the collaborative efforts between Greg Deering and artist Jens Kruger, the Deering Eagle II 5-string banjo will make your banjo sound soar like the majestic bird itself. Featuring the groundbreaking, patented Twenty-Ten tone ring, versatile sound, and a sleek, maple-stained dark red mahogany neck, this professional-quality banjo is perfectly suited for players of all styles who take their playing seriously and demand the utmost in performance, playability, and superb sonic quality.

Twenty-Ten Tone Ring
The Deering Twenty-Ten tone ring is a patented brass tone ring design by Deering. It has similar weight to the Deering -06-, but with increased flexibility. While this gives it good brightness, it has a more even midrange. Yet, because of its weight, it has similar sustain to the -06- tone ring.

Versatile Sound
The Eagle II's unique tone ring, three-ply violin grade maple rim, and maple-stained red mahogany resonator provide this banjo with a very rich sound. Used by many fingerpicking banjoists, the smooth midrange is popular with clawhammer and bluegrass players alike. Banjo players of all styles have soared with the Eagle II, including Winston Marshall of Mumford & Sons.

Maple-Stained Dark Red Mahogany Neck
The finely-finished, maple-stained, dark red mahogany neck gives the Eagle II a sleek, classy look while its slender Deering neck shape makes this instrument an absolute dream to play. Additionally, the smooth, natural ebony fingerboard with original Eagle-engraved inlays effortlessly elevates the style of the instrument.
