I bought one so I could remove all the frets & convert it to a fretless guitar, but decided to keep it stock! The pawlonia body is amazingly light-weight and rugged, balance is excellent, and hardware & appointments are adequate at this price-point. The neck is very nice, and with some 0000 steel-wool polishing of the frets with linseed oil (best neck therapy, ever!) and new strings, the guitar is fast and fun ! Pots are junk, but those are easy to swap & they work. Hardware (tuners, bridge etc.) work fine, and humbucker pickups are adequate when driven or processed through a workstation (I use a Johnson J-Station, best ever made). For the price, this is a great beater guitar!! I wouldn't perform onstage with it, but for travel, light jam sessions & messing around, this thing is great!
