So you need a bass drum beater and either just want a good felt, or don't have a clue where to begin. Here it is. This is the Ludwig Acrolite, Zildjian New Beat, Vater 5A basic, but great way to start! Danmar is made in the USA and great quality. Probably some cheaper beaters to be found and more exotic ones to be sure. But this is a fine felt beater and probably the only one of it's kind you'll ever buy; I have yet to see one that was worn out. They get abused from time to time, but if they don't get oily, wet or painted, they're good forever. Buy with confidence!
