The truth is that it is far to easy to get a viola with subpar sound at best. Having owned a Carlo Robelli viola in the past, I am proud to say that their quality has not dropped since I first started playing the viola. It is very hard for the pegs to get stuck or unravel themselves, a problem that some students have been having with new models of viola. This viola has been reliable and useable for a long time, enduring several string changes and bridges breaking (probably because I tend to play a little rough with faster songs). I recommend this viola for anyone interested in playing such a wonderful instrument.
