Jacks and pots on guitars, basses, amps, effects, and many other devices that use a shallow nut for mounting which is prone to loosening. In addition, access can be difficult – jacks may be recessed on some instruments with little clearance around the nut, and pot shafts prevent the use of short sockets. Depending on the make, nut size can be inch-based (fractional) or metric, and it’s not uncommon for a single instrument to contain both.

The GrooveTech Jack/Pot tool was developed specifically for this application, combining three sockets into one compact T-Handle unit. Sizes are 1/2", 7/16”, and 12mm, all with thin-wall sockets for easy access. Sockets are precision forged and heat treated, and a polished chrome finish enhances overall appeal. Socket tips are smooth to prevent damage to finished surfaces. Measuring only 4.25” x 3.5” (110mm x 90mm), the GrooveTech Jack/Pot Tool will easily fit in guitar case and gig bag storage compartments.

•  Three sockets handle virtually all jack and pot nut sizes
•  Sockets are forged and heat-treated for precision and high strength
•  Applicable to guitars and basses, as well as amplifiers and audio equipment
•  Sizes are easy to read with laser imprint of sizes
•  Polished chrome and pro-quality fit and finish

Great Product

Great product to stick in your gig bag. Handy for any guitarist.

Anyone with a guitar or two should have one of these.

Very sturdy tool that handles a variety of pot and jack repairs or adjustments easily and quickly. Beats the plastic versions hands down. Works exactly as advertised, at an economical price.

Works great!

Works much better than the needle nose pliers I used to use. And I'm much less likely to damage my guitars or myself!

It does its thing

Must have tool
