A handcrafted, ultra-playable classical guitar at an unbelievable price: the Cordoba C5 Nylon String Classical Acoustic Guitar.

One of the first models in the Cordoba Iberia Collection, the C5 Nylon String Classical Acoustic Guitar offers an amazing value for student players and more experienced players who want a quality, lightweight, handcrafted instrument at a modest price point. For exceptional tonal warmth, depth and balance, the C5 is handmade from mahogany back and sides paired with a solid Canadian cedar top that sports Spanish fan bracing. The 25.6"-scale mahogany neck supports a rosewood fingerboard with ultra-playable action, and features a two-way adjustable truss rod as well as a hand-carved headstock. For optimum performance, the C5 comes equipped with a bone nut, an Indian rosewood bridge with a bone saddle, and a set of Lyre-style Cordoba gold tuning machines with a 14:1 gear ratio. The C5 also showcases elegant appointments including a high-gloss polyurethane finish, an all natural inlaid wood mosaic rosette and Indian rosewood binding. Case not included.

Wonderful guitar

5

I've been using the guitar for classical songs. I originally bought the c3m but I was wrong and order it because I was confused and thought it was the c5. I quickly went back the day it came back and I exchanged it for the c5. The sound and feel is far greater and looks much more appealing.

Simply a Great Guitar For The Money

4

I had my eye on the C5 for a long time, but I ended up buying a model by another manufacturer because it was cheaper. Well, when I could finally afford it, I sold my old classical and bought the C5. But that evening, while playing it, I noticed the bridge was pulled off about an 1/8 in. on the bass-string side of the guitar. When I got home from work the next day, ready to take the guitar back for a trade, I was amazed to find the bridge had completely popped off! I was disappointed, but still I went back to the store and traded the broken C5 for one in good condition, and I don't regret that decision, because this new one shows no signs of the bridge failure the other one suffered. Who knows? Some careless person might have stopped by the acoustic section and dropped it on the showroom floor before I got there. I give Cordoba the benefit of the doubt, because I really do enjoy this guitar. It's built well, it sounds great, and it's very affordable. I don't see myself trading in this guitar for another one anytime soon, unless it's for another Cordoba. Keep up the good work!

Great Classical model for students and performing musicians that need a responsive guitar. I reccomend this for any beginner and classical players that don't want to break the bank.

A best value guitar in my opinion

5

This guitar sings with its solid top! A great entry into classical guitar. The action was low out of the box and I stretched the strings immediately and they stayed in tune. This guitar is one of the best values you will find for the money.

Incredible Budget Friendly Classical!

Cordoba is one of the leading brands for nylon string guitars. The C5 is a incredibly well made guitar without a huge price tag. The cedar top gives it the classic nylon string guitar tone you expect to hear from the likes of Andrés Segovia. The rosewood back and sides complement the warm tones given by the cedar top. Additionally this guitar is available as an acoustic/electric for only $100. One of the best value classical guitars! Stop by your local Sam Ash Music and check one out! Great affordable classical guitar

5

The Cordoba C5 is a great classical guitar. Its' mahogany body and cedar top provide a full warm tone. This guitar is great for a beginning player or a seasoned guitarist that might not have owned a classical prior to picking up the C5. Besides having quality tone, this guitar holds tune very well and will make it easy on any newcomer to guitar. The C5 is a great value and a solid choice when searching for a entry level to intermediate level classical guitar. I'm a staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music Lombard, IL

Classic mahogany and cedar tone.

5

The mahogany and solid Canadian cedar top wood construction is the main factor that brings out the beautiful warm tone that this classical guitar produces. The modified dovetail joint is a plus. The flat rosewood fingerboard makes it much easier to hold guitar chords down. This classical guitar is definitely a great buy. I'm a Staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music.

Classical On a budget

5

For the price, this is a pretty decent Classical guitar. I Have half a dozen high end ones in my collection but I needed one to just roam around with when going from rehearsal to rehearsal. The sound is very decent and its built well. I didnt want to cheap out on the sound too much but this guitar definitley has above decent sound. I recommend this for anyone looking for a guitar to take the punishment of travel. I am a staff reviewer @ sam ash queens.
