After spending time with the salesperson, I decided to purchase this product. I have played multiple instruments, but never learned to play the piano. I have decided to teach myself. The keys are weighted like a regular piano and not a keyboard. There are also not so many functions that I get overwhelmed with the keyboard. I am enjoying the process.

If you're like me and need a good keyboard with weighted keys (that also serves as a midi controller) and don't want to spend a ton of money on a keyboard, this is an excellent choice. The texture and feel of the keyboard are great, and the few sounds it comes with are very good, minus the strings, which is really my only issue. Casio has never been a good competitive brand in keyboards for me, but after trying it out at the store, I was surprised how good it felt and played. Definitely would recommend it for someone looking to buy a simple 88-key keyboard.

With all the lockdowns and such, I don't feel as safe using a practice room at school to keep up with my keyboard skills. This one has a headphone jack so I don't disturb the neighbours, has a decent feel (honestly I've yet to find a keyboard that feels just like a piano, and until I do, decent is the best I can hope for) and tone quality, plus it wasn't horribly expensive. Doesn't have a ton of features, but since I prefer piano to keyboard anyway, that doesn't matter as much to me.
