I really like this throne. I've had my eye on it for over a year and I finally saved up enough to throw down on this purchase. I feel good about it. It came with a Roc-n-Soc brand bottom, and the seat is the Carmichael product. Sometimes I just go sit down on it for fun. It's nearly double the price of a Roc-n-Soc Nitro, which is a high end throne. So that was tough to approach, at first. We pay for what we value, and I actually feel good about spending nearly $350 for a quality throne that will last. If you don't have spinal aches, then a Roc-N-Soc Nitro would be as much as you need too pay for a quality throne. Shopping, saving, valuation, and time spent in this whole process is all psychological. Noticing that, I just decided to buy this Double D instead of slipping into analysis paralysis and worrying about all the options out there. Time will tell if the spinal cut out actually provides a lasting benefit! I think it will.
