Great Bass for a great price. I like the size, the sound, and the look! Sounds great plugged or unplugged.
It's a great product to learn on and the price is not bad either I like the EQ feature
Decent for the money...but not set up...action too low ..first 3 frets clank...worked on it but needs pro set up...also..frets not dressed well...sharp edges hang over edge of fret board...but sounds and plays well....delivered next day
This is a solid learning instrument. The only reason it lost a star is because I had to do a fair bit of work to make it playable. There's the typical stuff you have to do to a new guitar, but this instrument's frets all had sharp edges sticking out of both sides of the neck. Since I'm not a fan of sliced up hands, I spent a good hour with a jeweler's file carefully smoothing down all of the fret edges. You have to go slowly and carefully so that you smooth down the metal, but don't damage the neck material. Otherwise, it plays nicely. No dead spots. No buzzing. Good tone up and down the neck, and across the strings. Definitely worth it!
I have been playing bass for 19 years. This is my first acoustic bass, I was looking for a different sound. For the money, I am pretty impressed, the sound is pretty good. Quality seems good, time will tell. Have played it 3 times now with no real snags. The electronics seem decent, give good sound and control. If I were to use an acoustic more often, I may go higher end, but this suits my needs perfectly. I would recommend this guitar for beginner to intermediate players. The only thing I really don't like is that it has only one strap attaching point that is integrated into the 1/4 guitar plug in the end. You have to use a very thin strap to utilize it and get a strap for the neck.
Great first bass to learn from
Great for its price
I love it. It sounds great and plays really good. The whole thing is gist the right size.
San Pedro, Ca
I bought this bass, my bass is all wood, no paint. I bought one of the first ones like 17 years ago from Sam ash. I like the fact I pull it out of the case, and it still has a great sound. The neck is straight, frets are smooth. It's still my favorite bass. The only thing is, wish it had more cut out for your hand on the bottom side. I own more expensive basses, but this one is my favorite like I said before.
