First of all I love the body style of the Breedlove pursuit series. It is small, comfortable, but doesn't compromise in sound. I shopped around looking at several different guitars including Taylors, Takamines, Gibsons, ect. comparing each one. I bought this one based on feel, playability, sound, and appearance. I was leaning towards the Taylor 214 ce koa but to me this one sounded and looked just as good if not better at a better price point. Having play this guitar for about a month now I am not disappointed at all. It is very comfortable to play. It has great action and playability. It has a great sound in the low and mid range. When plugged in the highs ring through a little too much but that can easily be compensated with the amps EQ. The electronics do a great job of amplifying the sound with no feedback that I have found so far. I do wish it had an on-board tuner but that is not a big deal. My only real complaint is that the sales clerk at the Raleigh branch did not provide the accessories for the guitar since this was a floor model.
