Experience the all-tube versatility of the Blackstar Series One Fifty 50 Watt Guitar Amp Head. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price and fast, free shipping.

The Blackstar Series One Fifty gives you an amazing array of tube tone all in one portable amp head. Just match up with your favorite speaker cabinet and you’re ready to rock. You can dial in the perfect sound that will cover any genre of music without having to change guitars or rely heavily on outboard effects.

The clean channel allows you to toggle between the Bright and Warm modes. The Series One 50 actually reconfigures its preamp voicing and power amp damping, giving you the option of American or British tones. The overdrive channel features two levels: Crunch and Super Crunch modes to choose from. In Crunch mode, you can dial in a classic rock & roll tone reminiscent of the glory days of arena rock. In Super Crunch mode, the power of modern metal is at your fingertips.

The ISF control is unique to Blackstar Amplification and represents a major step forward in its tone-shaping flexibility. This fully interactive control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between British and American voicings. This results in an infinite number of alternative tone choices.

The Blackstar Series One 50 supports MIDI channel switching, allowing you to simultaneously select an amp channel and change the patch on a MIDI effects processor you have connected to the effects loop. It supports 128 Program Changes, so you can access a wide range of tonal combinations.

Finally, this versatile amp features a DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) control which serves as an attenuator, so you can dial in the perfect level of overdriven sound and play endlessly at a volume that will not disturb the neighborhood. The output power of the amp from 50W (100%) all the way down to 5W (10%) of the rated power.

Comments about Blackstar Series One 50 - 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

Britstylesis amp, modern and open sounding. Vintage sounds are available easily too. With tube screamer or other booster of liking it really sings nicely on super crunch and kicks the amp to brutal section. All channels are really nice.
Much more versatile versus ht-series which is really compressed series. S1 eats pedals and fx much better on my opinion. Great for 90's extreme metal. Not 6505 or Mesa sounding but gets easily on those territories too.

Comments about Blackstar Series One 50 - 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I made the mistake of buying one of these. I tried to like it but it was a lost cause. No tone, dark, muddy, terrible distortion. Pinch harmonics sounded like a chicken who had his foot mashed.
No touch sensitivity, inorganic. Maybe its the mix of tube solid state. I dont know. Whatever it is
it does not work. Had to go back and play a pedal thru my blues jr. to see what a real amp sounded
