Even Better Than Before!

Leave it to the good folks over at Behringer to come up with a passive speaker design that delivers a huge sound at a low price. Whether using it as part of a PA system or onstage monitor, the passive EUROLIVE B212XL can handle an impressive 800 watts peak/200 watts continuous of chest-pumping power without breaking a sweat.

The 12” woofer extends down to 65 Hz so you can safely send some serious low-end signal its way. Its bass handling kicks some serious butt yet remains smooth and consistent throughout the show. The 1.75” titanium-diaphragm compression driver (tweeter, if you will) reproduces high frequencies with elegant ease, delivering a smooth, sweet, high-end signal. The overload-protection circuit is always on the job protecting the drivers throughout the entire gig, so have no fear.

The EUROLIVE B212XL has a nice wide dispersion, so no matter where your audience is listening from, they will benefit from hearing all the music the way they ought to. You can mount the B212XL on a speaker stand with its built-in 35-mm pole socket or tilt it on its side for use as a floor monitor. The lightweight design makes it easy to lug around and lift so you will not need to hire a roadie to assist with the setup. Its impact-resistant molded construction means it can survive the rigors of the road. Around the back are two speakon connectors, as well as a pair of parallel ¼” inputs, so all your professional connectivity needs are met.

With its rugged construction, quality components, awesome sound quality and low price, the Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL Passive PA speaker is a ridiculously great deal.

Features:

•  High-power 2-way PA sound reinforcement speaker system for live and playback applications (200 Watts Continuous / 800 Watts Peak Power)
•  Ultra-compact and light weight system delivers excellent sound even at extreme sound pressure levels

•  Overload-protection circuitry ensures optimal HF driver protection
•  Versatile trapezoidal enclosure design allows different positioning:
•  Stand mounting with 35-mm pole socket

Using a pair of the B210Ds with a B1200D sub for digital model and synth sources including Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth, Yamaha S-08 Keyboard and an M-Audio controller with iPad running Garageband and other apps via a Boss BX-8 mixer for mostly classic and prog rock. Acoustic guitars sound airy and open, crunchy and distorted guitars are creamy when EQ'd right or searing metallic if you want, and orchestras and pipe organs are HUGE. Integrated handle and light weight Class D amp technology make carrying and mounting on poles effortless. Tried one B210D alone, and the range was more than adequate for typical guitar and vocal to fill a 30-50 person coffee house. All three together is good for parties or clubs up to about 100 people. For bigger venues, can be used as killer stereo monitor while feeding a larger FOH system. These are not concert level, but leaves people the option to have a conversation inside at the back of the room. A second sub and /or stepping up to B212Ds would get you to the next level, if needed. Other brands' gear will get you 20% better sound, but cost you 2 to 3 times as much. Great value. Plus, creating an account with Sam Ash got me 20% off the already low price!

Great cabinet

My 3 piece band was using 2 JBL 10" powered cabinets for stage monitors with bad results. Replaced the 2 JBL's with 1 B212D in the center of the stage and have had no problems since. Plenty of volume and good clear vocals.

Don't Think Twice!!!

Found this online but not in stores. Had a gift card (not accepted online) so I had an associate at the local store order this for me. Picked it up last week and gigged on it twice last Friday and Saturday. The sound is sharp, clear, plenty of low end and plenty of room on the top end. Our board has an 8 band EQ and I honestly think this had more bass than the 15" main we used prior to purchasing this. We tweaked the EQ and off we went! I am going to get another of these and sell our JBL floor wedges. The Behringer cabinets are made to be pole mounted or floor wedge, and they sit on the floor nicely angled. So I can use this as a small main or a good sized floor monitor. In short, get it, don't be afraid of the low price.

A wonderful sound for a great price! I use 2 speakers at nursing homes, assisted living, etc. The sound is mellow and even if it's loud, the people are not complaining. Thank you Behringer!
