Finally, Great-Sounding Active Loudspeakers That Won't Break Your Back or Bank Account!

The days of the back breaking lugging of a PA system, with its bulky speakers and heavy amplifiers from gig to gig, are long gone; announcing the Behringer EUROLIVE B212D. The surprisingly lightweight Behringer EUROLIVE B212D Active PA speaker system is a shining example of modern technology giving you a break.

With a high power output of 550 Watts from its two built-in power amplifiers, the Behringer EUROLIVE B212D delivers a lot of sound for the money with plenty of power to spare. The two built-in amplifiers per speaker, one dedicated to the woofer and the other to the tweeter, along with the internal crossover network, ensures that the right frequencies go to the right speaker component so you get a beautifully smooth, even sound across the frequency spectrum. A 12” woofer delivers deep satisfying bass and a state-of-the-art 1.35” aluminum-diaphragm compression driver offers sweet silky high frequency reproduction.

Around the back of the enclosure is a balanced XLR line input and additional XLR speaker linkable output, as well as a ¼” input. The level adjustment is easy to set and forget and there are low and high EQ controls for shaping things just the way you like. The power switch is also around the back so no friendly bar patrons can come by and ruin the evening. The built-in limiter acts as a protection circuit so you have no worries when you need that little bit of extra juice.

The Behringer EUROLIVE B212D can be placed on a table, mounted on a pole, and, thanks to the clever trapezoidal design, can be laid on its side providing the perfect angle for onstage monitoring. Looking for something a little bit smaller? Check out the baby brother, EUROLIVE B208D.

With all this great technology at such a low price, you owe it to yourself to give the Behringer EUROLIVE B212D a try. Now just try to resist!

Using a pair of the B210Ds with a B1200D sub for digital model and synth sources including Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth, Yamaha S-08 Keyboard and an M-Audio controller with iPad running Garageband and other apps via a Boss BX-8 mixer for mostly classic and prog rock. Acoustic guitars sound airy and open, crunchy and distorted guitars are creamy when EQ'd right or searing metallic if you want, and orchestras and pipe organs are HUGE. Integrated handle and light weight Class D amp technology make carrying and mounting on poles effortless. Tried one B210D alone, and the range was more than adequate for typical guitar and vocal to fill a 30-50 person coffee house. All three together is good for parties or clubs up to about 100 people. For bigger venues, can be used as killer stereo monitor while feeding a larger FOH system. These are not concert level, but leaves people the option to have a conversation inside at the back of the room. A second sub and /or stepping up to B212Ds would get you to the next level, if needed. Other brands' gear will get you 20% better sound, but cost you 2 to 3 times as much. Great value. Plus, creating an account with Sam Ash got me 20% off the already low price!

PROS: Very Lightweight and solid carrying handle. Fine for small parties- Affordable and easy to use. great for monitoring vocals or vocal presentations. CONS: Somewhat FLAT sound Clips often when boosting volume past 1/2 (karaoke mainly) Knobs may break- protrude from rear of speaker vs sunk.

Great cabinet

My 3 piece band was using 2 JBL 10" powered cabinets for stage monitors with bad results. Replaced the 2 JBL's with 1 B212D in the center of the stage and have had no problems since. Plenty of volume and good clear vocals.

Don't Think Twice!!!

Found this online but not in stores. Had a gift card (not accepted online) so I had an associate at the local store order this for me. Picked it up last week and gigged on it twice last Friday and Saturday. The sound is sharp, clear, plenty of low end and plenty of room on the top end. Our board has an 8 band EQ and I honestly think this had more bass than the 15" main we used prior to purchasing this. We tweaked the EQ and off we went! I am going to get another of these and sell our JBL floor wedges. The Behringer cabinets are made to be pole mounted or floor wedge, and they sit on the floor nicely angled. So I can use this as a small main or a good sized floor monitor. In short, get it, don't be afraid of the low price.

A wonderful sound for a great price! I use 2 speakers at nursing homes, assisted living, etc. The sound is mellow and even if it's loud, the people are not complaining. Thank you Behringer!
