Great little amp for practice or recording. When driven, it DOES resemble an SVT, at least enough to make me smile. Surprisingly musical for solid state. I run it through an SWR 12" in a sealed cabinet. Definitely worth Hotone making an upgraded version, say 15 watts?

This is a little beast. It sounds good with any combination of speaker cabs. There is a lot of tone shaping available, which allow you to tailor it to suit your needs. If you want to crank the drive you could probably even use it with a full band.

I'm surprised at how much I like this little head. Signal to noise is fantastic. It's bone quiet. Active basses I plug in the back. Passive in the front. It even works well with my David Gage upright bass pickup, which is saying something. Tone wise, this is simply delicious. I'll go with a bigger head if I'm using a bigger cab but with this I can skip headphones and use a monitor box, instead.

This head replaced my "frankenhead" that was comprised of three units in a component case that sat on top of my amp and was at least a quarter of the size of my amp which is a Peavy half stack. Perfect for practicing and small venue use. I love it.
