Things You Will Get:

  • Tone Master Metal Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece

Otto Link, one of the oldest mouthpiece companies, provides the best, most traditional sound. Customizable tip openings and facing lengths provide the perfect mouthpiece for every player, every situation, and every sound. I've played on one of the 6* and love it. The only qualm I have is that if you've never played a metal mouthpiece, the sound can spread out and get wild.

Recommended for a powerful, cutting, and versatile sound!

I've been playing for about five years and recently I decided that I needed an upgrade from the cheap stock mouthpieces I was using for high school concert band. I wanted an edgy and open tone, but with good control. And boy, does this piece do the trick! When I picked it up yesterday, I was so surprised on how easy it was to pump out those low notes but also speak well in the upper registers. I got a NY 7 (slightly larger tip opening) with Java Green 3 reeds and it wasn't as hard to play on as I expected. I recommend this to anyone that wants good projection without sacrificing control and tone. Vandoren ZZ reeds are a good place to start with this mouthpiece.

Wow, better than I expected.

I bought the NY #8 and it has so much power. The tone is pure, the sound is phat, and the dynamic range is excelent. I can hit the altissimo notes with little effort.I plan to use this link in my college jazz band and jazz combo. This mouthpiece suprised me more than I thought it would. [...].

Very good sound

I bought this mouthpiece for my 1923 conn chu berry. It made the sound brilliant and bold. I recommend to buy a rovner instead of using the metal one it comes with for sound and durability. This mouthpiece can make any saxophone sound like a million bucks.
