Excellent soprano sax. ergonomics make it easy to handle and sound quality is excellent. The stock Yamaha 4c mouthpiece is OK. I upgraded to an Otto Link 6* and found the sound quality to be better.

Im using this sax in the church entwine with choir singers and solos . tone is so sweet and lovely ,,,only confusing my fingering keys that differ from my other sax.,,, bis and side key A#/Bb... that's all but overall I love it

I used this for playing in a pit for a musical and needed an instrument quickly as my soprano fell and bent its keys. Heather at Sam ash was excellent in getting me this horn overnight. This instrument plays just like a pro model. The intonation is great right out of the case. Plays from low Bb to high F# without effort and I used the stock mouthpiece and reed supplied.

This is an awesome soprano saxophone! I would really recommend this sax to anyone who is trying to get a very good sax! Yes, it is a little more expensive than some, but it is definitely worth it.
