It has great tone and fine attention to construction detail. That said, of the 10 instruments I own, it is the second most challenging to play (Trinity College Irish Bouzouki is most challenging). The reason? The Ibanez neck is the quite narrow. My sloppy left hand position may be at fault here, but I had to re-learn how to properly hold the neck. After 54 years of bad technique it took several months to break old habits, but I finally did it. Maybe I should give myself 4 stars and the Ibanez 5. Given a choice though, I'd prefer a slightly wider neck. I play for fun, and that would make it easier (therefore more fun) for me to play.
