Good amp at a good price
I play in a 50's/60's cover band and play A LOT. I needed something that sounded good with electric and upright bass but was a pain to lug around. This works great! Plus it's very affordable!

Not every bass player needs, wants, or knows how to use EQ's; there was also a time when they simply didn't exist. I, for one, like to keep things "simple." Which is what this Ampeg PF-350 head is all about: "simplicity." Unless your gigs consist of arenas, or stadiums, this is one heckuva head. It's basic; Master Volume, Gain, Bass, Mid, and Treble, with a push-button −15dB pad, and limiter, it's very easy-to-use, and since it has a line-out jack for patching it into a PA, it's a great gigging amp for clubs and many outdoor gigs. Pair it (as I have) with an Ampeg PF-115LF ported cab, and you've got a great rig that'll serve you well for a long time to come....especially if you prefer a more "old school/vintage" bottom-heavy sound.
