No DAW needed

Great new tech. No DAW needed.

I use it to make beats , coming from fl studio it took some time to get the hang of it but the work flow with it is easy and fun with everything at your fingertips

Great for beginners and experts

I'm new to beat making but I can tell you that I have really enjoyed learning how to use this. If you are new as well I would recommend the MPC One. It may not have a lot of the features of the Live or X but you get a lot more of the controls laid out for your use as a stand-alone entry to mid-level groovebox. I think the processor could probably be a lot faster than it is, I say this for loading up your track files. The pads could be a better material as well. They feel a little stiff to me. Would be cool if the screen would tilt in case you don't have a stand to put it on so you're not always craning your neck.

A whole MPC at the half the expected price

This is an amazing machine. First things first, this is far more than a MIDI controller. It is a stand-alone production center. You can record into it, load sounds in, and produce complete whole songs with no need for a computer. There is an SD slot, USB port, quarter-inch ins and outs, and so on. I consider it a game-changer because it is half the price you expect from an MPC, small enough to be somewhat portable (though it has to be plugged in) and with slightly smaller pads, still packs the interface and punch of other MPC gear. I'm new to the MPC ecosystem, so there is a learning curve. The terminology is familiar but the words have slightly different meanings. I recommend using the manual as reference after a while so you don't miss out on features or tricks you weren't aware of. All in all, I recommend it.

Excellent staff and product

Sexy beast

Amazing!! Traded in my old MPC for this sexy beast. 10/10

Strong little unit in stand alone mode

It is a good all around drum machine and sampler. Very strong in stand alone mode and links up decently to desktop software. I am still currently having problems linking to the vst in controller mode. I also would like a hard copy of a owners manual and not an E manual. All in all not a bad unit. MpC one is very versatile little unit.
