I've always been a fan of the huge sound a high quality, subtle analog delay will give you. I've owned a few, and here are my thoughts. A good delay pedal is one you do not notice until you turn it off. The tone or volume of the repeats should not be effected by any overdrive or distortion. On top of those qualities, the AD-10 is a phase 90 sized pedal that runs on 9v adapters. Subtle, but huge. The Maxon AD-900 did this too, but it takes up a lot of real estate and runs on 18v. The carbon copy is garbage. Keeley magnetic echo was extremely lackluster considering how good his overdrives are.
