This vintage trumpet is in great condition for it's age! The Exakta Migma Bb/A trumpet was fairly popular in the 1940's, especially because of it's uniquely designed octagonal bell. this trumpet also has a double slide, so it can tune a half step down to A. This trumpet still looks great, with the exception of minor scuffs and scratches from normal previous use/aging. Otherwise, this horn plays incredibly smoothly. All valves and slides are in tact, and function properly. To ensure this was at optimal playability, our in house tech made any necessary adjustments before being put out for sale.
Includes a case.
Short History: Wunderlich was member of Migma, an acronym for "Musikinstrumenten Genossenschaft Markneukirchen", a cooperative with at a time several hundred musical instrument makers, established in 1943 and still existing. Most of their octagonal trumpets were made from 1945 till approx. 1970/75. After that, interest strongly declined.
