Built to powerfully amplify your bass tone, this Hartke 210XL gets the job done. Featuring a 35th anniversary commemorative design upgrade, classic all-aluminum speakers, and fantastic specs, this amplifier is perfect for any bassist who needs to be heard.

35th Anniversary Commemorative Design Upgrade
Back in 1984, Hartke changed the bass game with the XL Series. That was 35 years ago. Now, in honor of that milestone, Hartke is revamping the outer design of the powerful XL cabinet. This new design is built with a tuned, single-chamber, sealed cabinet, constructed of solid ¾ ply wood. The outside is now a textured vinyl, which replaced the black carpet, for more modern-looking durability. There's also a black perforated steel grill, reinforced corners, and two inset handles for easy, non-obtrusive carrying.

Classic All-Aluminum Speakers
Upon its release in 1984, one of the most important aspects of the XL Series was the use of all-aluminum cone drivers. That tech innovation, coupled with a quality build, gave bassists a new, excellent option for amplifying their low-end tone. This model still showcases the power of all-aluminum speakers, two to be exact. Each of the XL 10" low frequency drivers has an aluminum cone with a 1.5" voice coil on a Kapton former.

Fantastic Specs
This bass cab is built with the utmost technological proficiency to assure awesome sound quality. The 210XL V2 has power handling up to 200 watts, with 8 ohm impedance. It's also got a frequency response of 50Hz-5kHz and 2 x 1/4" inputs, wired in parallel.  With dimensions of 14.5" x 24.5" x 15" and weighing in at 44 lbs., it's no doubt this cabinet looks as hefty as it sounds.

A well rounded product

5

The cabinet is sturdy, but not too heavy. The built-in handles are excellent. They're large, which makes them comfortable. The grill is robust. It's not just for decoration. It will most certainly prevent damage to the speakers. The covering is surprising thick. It will hold up to heavy use well. The corners are all capped with a strong plastic composite. This is a rock solid cabinet. The dual, 10-inch hybrid speakers produce very crisp tones across a wide range of frequencies. They never exhibit excess excursion and sing high and low pitches simultaneously, without any distortion. Volume response is even across the octaves. I'm impressed. I didn't know people still made such high quality products. Clearly, Hartke knows what they're doing.
