You are looking at a Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Journeyman Relic Left-Handed Electric Guitar, serial number R17072. This is the actual guitar you will receive should you decide to purchase. (6 lbs, 10.7 oz.)

The Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster embodies all the vibe of one of the most rare and sought-after incarnations of the now-legendary Telecaster. Brimming with pure '50s styling, this Time Machine Series 1951 Nocaster serves up a unique vintage sound that's matched by contemporary playability. Whether you're a vintage Fender fanatic or a discerning guitarist who craves vintage vibes, the Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Journeyman Relic was made for you!

Pure '50s Styling
Dressed in a Journeyman Relic finish, this 1951 Nocaster has the vibe of lightly-played, well-taken-care-of guitar that's seen some weekend gigs and jam sessions in its day. The distinctive single-cutaway body has been an unchanging design hallmark since it was introduced. Three adjustable solid-brass saddles on its strings-through-body bridge, a breakthrough concept at the time, improved the guitar's tuning stability and made it a cinch to adjust string spacing. From the Blonde finish and black phenolic pickguard to a simple one-piece maple neck that ends in its unmistakable headstock, the blueprints had been established for what became a signature look for guitarists worldwide.

Unique Vintage Sound
The pair of Hand-Wound Loaded '51 Nocaster pickups burn with vintage-inspired tone, thanks to extra winds of extra-thick wire for hotter output. Each pickup has been hand-wound for distinctly unique character. Juiced up with Fender's Fat '50s Wiring scheme, these pickups are perfect for driving a preamp into gritty overdrive.

Contemporary Playability
Artfully shaped by hand, the "10/56 V"-shaped quartersawn AA flame maple neck is ideal for any playing style and thumb position. Its modern 9.5"-radius fingerboard is fitted with 21 narrow-tall frets for precise feel whether you're playing chords or digging on deep bends without fretting out.
