Comments about A Zildjian 21" Sweet Ride Cymbal:

This is THE ride cymbal. It has the wash, it has the ping, it's a bizarre 21", it's everything you can ask for in a ride cymbal, plus. The sweet ride will literally have you saying "sweet" every single time you hit it. The ping gives you that ride feel, cutting through all the tones of most genres, while if you're going to be crashing it, it's going to have a very full crash. It offers some wash, to go with the crash, but is very subtle when using the ride for its ping purposes. I would suggest this to any drummer who wants to crash their ride but still wants something to hold its own as an actual ride cymbal. Travis Barker uses this ride cymbal, if that gives you an idea.

This is a real hands on product review from Chris @ Sam Ash Huntington.

Comments about A Zildjian 21" Sweet Ride Cymbal:

not quite what I wanted. It is a great cymbal and there is nothing bad about it, but I need less wash, less of a crash/ride characteristic, and more definition. I DO like a ride that has wash and can be crashed on but this is too much for me. A four star cymbal for me.

Comments about A Zildjian 21" Sweet Ride Cymbal:

Very versatile cymbal! The one I've been looking for. Able to go from light jazz to classic rock. Nice large full bell, not too harsh ping, still cuts with louder songs, nice wash and still able to crash.

Comments about A Zildjian 21" Sweet Ride Cymbal:

This is the second 21" I ever had that satisfied my taste for a Ride. It's Bell really screams out and gets noticeable attention. The Bow really holds on to it's notes with clear articulation without getting washed away in a crash mode. For best use use extra felt washers around bell.

Amazing Ride!!! A great strong bell. plus a great crash sound! It truly is a sweet ride. i love how i can go from the bell to a slight tap to a slow heaver ride to a crash its a cymbal you can build with or rock out on! I love the feel it gives just enough without feeling weak. Its medium in weight so its still a durable cymbal id recommend this cymbal

It has a life of it's own on stage. I've had people from the audience come up to me after a show and say keep your I on that cause I'm gonna steal from you Ilove it. It is my favorite cymbol. American made is the only way to go. You should all at least give it a shot.
