  • Built-In duet partner: plays along with you in one of ten different playing styles.

Comments about Yamaha P105B 88-Key Digital Piano:

This is a great instrument. It has become one of the best selling keyboards out there for several reasons. It has a great action. It sounds fantastic. It has professional features (line level outputs, headphone output, USB for MIDI). It has great built in speakers. It is inexpensive and it only weighs 25 pounds! If you require meat and potato sounds and do not require pitch-bend and modulation controls this would be a very wise musical investment.

Comments about Yamaha P105B 88-Key Digital Piano:

This is a great instrument for the price. Sounds great, plays great, and easy to load. I think it should have a Start/Stop pedal function for the rhythm patterns. I'd also like to see one button for split mode and one for layer mode so it would stay in those modes instead of reverting to single-play when a preset button is pushed. Then you could have bass selected and change the upper voice while keeping the bass patch, or select a new layer patch and keep the newer patch of the previous pair selected along with the new patch. Primarily a guitarist, I'd also like to see a transpose slider for instant access to my favorite keys to play in. That's why I gave it 4 stars, but for many players, it could very easily rate a 5.

Comments about Yamaha P105B 88-Key Digital Piano:

At 25 pounds the P-105 is easy to carry around. It has USB for MIDI, left and right line level outputs, headphone outputs, great sounds and a solid piano feel touch. For the musician on a budget who does not need a lot of sounds or pitch bend and/or modulation, at this price, the P-105 is an outstanding instrument.

Comments about Yamaha P105B 88-Key Digital Piano:

I've been using this piano to practice on at home, and the weighted keys, sound effects, and quality is unbeatable at this low of a price. I feels and reacts just like a real piano yet is easily transportable and programmable. It fits in nicely with my household as well and is a piano I love to show off.
