The Yamaha FG730S represents a big leap forward in value even for Yamaha!

The first thing you notice when holding the Yamaha FG730 in your hands is the well-constructed quality and stark good looks. The FG730S looks and plays like a much more expensive instrument and it’s rich full tone can fill up a room and impress even the most critical ears.

An excellent choice for players of all-levels and experience, the Yamaha FG730S features a handsome, solid Sitka Spruce top. Comments about Marshall JCM800 Reissue Guitar Amplifier Head:

My cousin owns this guitar and I am planning on getting it as well. The sound is warm, crisp, and very distinct. From bright highs to, smooth warm mids, to deep lows, it is perfect. The craftsmanship on this and really all Yamahas I have picked up is a step above many othe brands. Perfect even. The neck is very comfortable even for a beginner. The strings that come on most any new guitar are fairly stiff, and we always change them out. I have seen/heard others call this a bland looking guitar. I would have to disagree. The wood grain is quite beautiful even in the other color options. The binding around the guitaris beautifully well done. It has a great sound due to its solid top that will only get better with age. My cousin has had this for almost 2 years now. It holds its tune, and is always ready to be played. All guitars that he owns are kept in a humidity controlled room like they should be when you don't have a case. Warping has not been, and should never be an issue. Very very good guitar for all stages of players. Pair this with a good accoustic pickup and you will never be sorry for buying it.

Comments about Marshall JCM800 Reissue Guitar Amplifier Head:

First Hats Off to the Crew at Sam Ash. The staff allowed me to just sit there and play with no interruptions and when I was ready to buy answered all my questions. I went into the store with the intention of buying a new guitar while keeping it in budget up to about $600. I went and played various guitars that day (Ibanez, Fender, Washburn, Takamine) Then I seen the Yamaha and liked the way it looked so I decided to pull it off the wall and play it. The guitar was comfortable from the start and the tone was really warm and crisp. I put the Guitar back and went and tried the others and went right back to this model. The guitar is well constructed and the quality and workmanship stands out. This Guitar beat out alot of Guitars that day in the same price range and in the higher end models. Since I have had this Guitar home, It has stayed in tune. I find the neck very comfortable and enjoy picking and strumming. I have plenty of room for my fingers. I heard this to be a concern about room for your fingers, I can tell you from playing one and owning one not a problem here. I am very happy with my purchase and feel that I made the best choice for my budget. I truly look forward to getting home from work every day and picking this Guitar up to play it.

Comments about Marshall JCM800 Reissue Guitar Amplifier Head:

This guitar gets a REALLY great full sound for it's price range. And actually a really great sound for a lot higher price range. I went out and had no intentions of buying a guitar that day. Though, I was in the market for a new solid top. I'm one of those window shoppers until I find exactly what I want in my price range. I tried different brands and just didn't like the sounds on some and feel on others. I was willing spend around $600. Then I picked up this FG730S. It's kinda bland looking. Plain Dot inlays. Nothing fancy, but then again, so are Martins. It is a solid Sitka Spruce and bound really well. However, I really didn't expect much considering the price and that the more expensive brands didn't thrill me. Well, when I grabbed one off the wall, tuned it and started to play. I was blown away by the full sound. This is what I wanted and fit my needs. It projects very well. I bought a boxed one on the spot. With the money I saved, I bought an external pickup for it.

Now the neck issue. It is sensitive to string tension and humidity I noticed. When I first brought it home, I put 12s on it. Caused the neck to bend a bit. However, a slight adjustment to the truss rod and all was good. A month later, I tweaked the truss rode one more time. I've had it about 7 months now and so far so good. I do notice the action lower/higher on it's own sometimes. But no intervention needed. Must be the nato neck and the humidity in my house. Though I never had this issue with my 20 yr old fender acoustic. But that isn't a nato neck. I guess this is the breaking in period until it finds it's comfort level. With the solid top, it will only age better. This is a must buy if you are looking for a good sounding acoustic at a great price. I give it a 5 not cause this is the best guitar, but because it exceeded expectations for it's class.

Comments about Marshall JCM800 Reissue Guitar Amplifier Head:

This is probably the best [$] guitar you will find. I was choosing between a Fender and the Yamaha and they played about the same but the fit and finish was a little nicer on the Yamaha so I chose it. The Fender had a string key mounted crooked and I couldn't forgive them for doing that. The crooked key stopped me from taking the Fender.

Comments about Marshall JCM800 Reissue Guitar Amplifier Head:

My beach guitar got stolen so i gave [$] to my wife and asked her to drop by "Sam A" to grab another beater> I was expecting an Epi dove or EL00 or something. She bought the Yamaha because she liked the wood on the back and it looked like my "main" guitar (1977 D-28). The other [$] became here brokers fee.I Replaced the cheap strings and fell in love. It doesn't have the full sound of my Taylor or the Martin but you cant beat it for the price. I glued a pickup under the bridge and started taking it to gigs as a backup--wasn't long until i was playing it more than the $1500 Taylor and I never have to worry about some over appreciative drunk crashing into it or filling it with her drink. There are a couple glue spots at the neck joint and a flaw in the finish here and there but this baby is a gamer--Just take it out and play the hell out of it. I bought a second one that I leave on our boat and even in the Florida heat and humidity, open the case and entertain--it usually holds tune.I record with the Martin and TaylorI play the Yamaha
