Comments about Tascam DM-4800 MK2 64 Channel Digital Mixer:

First off,I will say that this particular china cymbal left something to be desired for me-it sounded decent when you clobbered it,but rather gongy otherwise. Then an idea came to me-add a little something!Borrowing a basic idea from promark,I found what I needed around the house-some old chains and S-hooks that once held hanging flowerpots. On one side of an S-hook I looped a chain three times, the bottom of each loop ending just short of the beginning of the flare of the cymbal(Holding the hook at the center).I then used pliers to close that side of the S so as not to lose the chain, and bent the S into a curve so it would fit better into the center of the cymbal.Once this was installed on the stand with the cymbal,it was transformed into a totally trashy and very focused china. The sound may not appeal to everyone, for example the sustain is greatly shortened by the hanging chains, but to me it's the way I want a china cymbal to sound. And of course, you can try different types and amounts of chain.Experiment and make it your own!

this china is an ok china. if youre looking for a low priced but decent sounding china then id buy this. it records very nicely, in a studio, and itll last you a while. however; if you are looking for a china to use in shows with large crowds, i would not suggest this china, as it sounds bad, acoustically.

I personally love this China. It has an unbeatable price and a great sound. Keep in mind that these cymbals are all hand made, so the sound varies greatly from cymbal to cymbal. No two are alike. Make sure you hear it before you buy!

Its not a bad cymbal, but I broke mine in about a good month ... i also broke about 3 pairs of sticks on it. L0L. This cymbal is good for your first china. Just remember that a china will most likely break easier than a normal cymbal.

"I have been playing for a couple of years and had never played on a China cymbal. I dedided to get one, so I looked for the Lowest priced one. I saw the Wuhan for $[...] or so, and I was like whoa! So I got it and love it. It didn't sound like anything on CD's and songs, but it sounds good and goes good if you are a loud player like me. Well if you are looking for a descent China, I STRONGLY consider this."
