A modern classic that won't break the bank, the Guild Westerly Collection F-150CE Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines traditional Guild appointments and playability with the power, projection and volume that you've come to expect from a Guild Jumbo.

The Westerly Collection pays homage to Guild's early history renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and for the introduction of many beloved Guild acoustics. Inspired by this golden era, all Guild Westerly Collection guitars feature premium all solid woods and a lightweight Guild case at an affordable price.

With their large, rounded bodies, Guild's jumbo acoustic guitars have been prized for their volume, projection, and balance ever since the F-50 model debuted in 1954. The F-150CE upholds this tradition with its solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, elegant cutaway, and powerful Fishman Sonitone pickup. Additional features include an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, NuBone nut and saddle, and mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1-3/4" nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and Guild's new lightweight polyfoam case. Available in Natural gloss finish.

Comments about Guild Westerly Collection F-150Ce Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have played for years. Sometimes as a harmony singer and guitarist for major artist and in front bands for opening acts. These days at church, community events, weekend gigs and the occasional Funeral. I have played the same all mahogany Dreadnaught for 40 years and its been a great guitar but it is time to upgrade. I Have always wanted a jumbo with Tone woods that fit my style of playing and singing and did not have to take out a second mortgage to buy the guitar. I was really pleased with the sound, playability and workmanship of this guitar. I cannot give this a 5 star rating because of something's that could be better.1:I don't like the placement of the front strap button. 2: The pickup is at most only adequate.3: I haven't had the guitar long enough. I have played more expensive Guitars that I did not like there sound.

Best sound for the money

Comments about Guild Westerly Collection F-150Ce Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing since 1998 and still have the same entry level guitar I started with. I decided to upgrade and spent several hours and several trips at my local Sam Ash to pick out my first really nice guitar. I played nearly every acoustic they had and narrowed it down to a Martin and this Guild. The Guild D-150CE won out with a richer, deeper sound. I've been playing it daily since I bought it back in January (It's July now) and couldn't be happier with my selection.

While it may be common today, I was thrilled with the in sound hole electronics as opposed to the older ones cut into the body itself I had become accustomed to. Simply sounds fantastic plugged or unplugged.

Comments about Guild Westerly Collection F-150Ce Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The guitar was in tune and play condition when I received it. I love the sound, the look, and the whole package.

Battery for the Fishman electronics was not installed, however, and it took some work to velcro the battery pouch inside the body with the strings in place.
