I purchased this guitar last Christmas and have no regrets about it (knock on wood). I have never changed the strings on it yet and it sounds like I got it yesterday. Just got some new daddario strings today and cant wait to see how it sounds!!! Awesome guitar for the price. Yes, yes, yes, I would definitly recommend this to a friend!!

Not going to sayanything new, I'm sure. Had to add to the other reviews because this guitar deserves all the great reviews it gets.
This is priced as a beginner guitar. If you are a beginner, you could not start on a better guitar. It does not play like any beginner guitar that I've ever played. I really hate to say "for the price", because it is sort of misleading. It's been said before, but it's true... It really does play like many higher end guitars.
I played a lot of guitars (low to high) and always came back to this one. IMO, compares very closely to the Taylor 110, both in sound and feel. Sound is a matter of taste of course. This, to me, has a higher end crisp clean sound. Does not sound at all like an inexpensive guitar. This is not even close to a toy. I like the satin neck. Feels good, more comfortable on the hand when playing. Guitar stays in tune. Looks nice.
If this guitar sold for $400.00, I would feel like I got a good deal. I truely believe if you played it blindfolded along with more expensive spruce top guitars (apples to apples), you'd have a hard time telling which costs more.
That's my two and a half cents. Very nice guitar for the money, or not.

Ive had this guitar two years now and its the best money
Ive ever spent on a guitar . If you dont want to take your Taylor to the beach or camping this is the one ! it stays in tune and is pretty durable , i was amazed at the quality of construction for the price and it sounds great !

This is my first guitar; I use it still for practice with my music teacher.
It provides amazing sound for the lowest price possible. If you're looking to invest in a guitar for a couple years, this one will do fine.

I love yamahas because they always provide a decent sound at the least. This has a great rich tone for it's price range and is always reliable for a good jam session.

i love this guitar.
i have 4 other guitars lp,fender strat,gibson j45, esp ec50 and i am getting a washburn n2 electric so i usually play those. But when i picked this guitar up and played it i was suprised at how well it played and how sturdy it was. It plays almost as good as my j45, almost ;)

By far the best guitar for the money!!!! I dont want to put it down. I went to the sam ash store and played alot of guitars and consitiantly went back to this one. beat out a 450 alverez so thats 250 in my pocket. If you have doubts just go to a dealer and play one!!
